Bod AI ("Bod AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides a fitness training app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.

By using Bod AI, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account/profile details, such as display name and onboarding preferences (for example: training goals, experience level, equipment, frequency, session length, height, weight, and related fitness settings).
• Goal physique photo, if you choose to upload one for analysis.
• Progress photos, if you choose to take them in the app.
• Support communications sent to us.

Information collected automatically

• App activity and product interaction analytics (such as screen views and feature usage).
• Device/app technical information needed to run and secure the service.
• Push notification token and notification preferences (if notifications are enabled).
• Subscription and purchase status information from Apple/RevenueCat.

Authentication data

• Bod AI supports anonymous authentication and Sign in with Apple.
• If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide account-related identifiers and, depending on your settings, relay email or profile details.

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and adapt your training program.
• Deliver core app features, including workout generation and progression tracking.
• Process subscriptions, entitlement checks, and restores.
• Provide reminders and notification features you enable.
• Analyze product performance, reliability, and feature usage.
• Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect service integrity.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3) AI Features

Bod AI uses third-party AI providers to power parts of the service, including workout and goal-image analysis functionality.

For goal-image analysis, your selected goal image is uploaded to secure storage and processed through our AI pipeline.

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Where Your Photos Are Stored

• Goal physique photo (onboarding): may be uploaded to our backend storage to support AI analysis features.
• Progress photos: stored locally on your device (based on current app behavior), managed by app settings and deletion controls.

If these flows change in future releases, we will update this Privacy Policy before or at launch.

5) Third-Party Service Providers

We use service providers that process data on our behalf, including:

• Supabase (authentication, database, storage, backend functions)
• RevenueCat (subscription status and purchase management)
• PostHog (product analytics)
• OpenAI and/or other AI providers (AI-powered generation/analysis)
• Apple services (in-app purchase processing, Sign in with Apple, push notifications)

These providers may process data according to their own privacy terms and our agreements with them.

6) Subscriptions and Billing Data

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your App Store account.

We receive subscription status and entitlement information needed to unlock paid features.

For billing disputes and refunds, Apple's billing terms and App Store policies apply.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for:

• Providing the service,
• Legitimate business and security purposes,
• Legal, tax, and compliance obligations.

If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal data as required by applicable law and operational necessity.

8) Account Deletion

Bod AI provides in-app account deletion.

When you request deletion, we will process deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations and technical constraints (for example, limited backup retention windows).

9) Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access personal information,
• Correct inaccurate information,
• Delete personal information,
• Restrict or object to certain processing,
• Data portability,
• Withdraw consent (where processing relies on consent).

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

11) Children's Privacy

Bod AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
